More time to seek SBA disaster help

The SBA could also accept a late application after the deadline if you show good cause. These changes would apply after a declared major disaster and would start upon enactment.

More SBA alerts to district offices

If enacted, the SBA would notify each Member of Congress’s district office when a major disaster hits that district. Those offices would be added to the agency’s outreach and web updates. This could speed information to local constituents. It would take effect upon enactment.
