U.S. support for global Alzheimer's collaboration
This bill would let the U.S. join and help fund a global Alzheimer’s effort called the Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative. Money could be given through existing foreign aid programs, but only after the group raises funds from outside the U.S. From fiscal years 2026 to 2030, U.S. money could never be more than 33 percent of the group’s total funds. The President would pick a U.S. representative to serve on the group and have them coordinate with USAID, the State Department, and HHS. The President would also report to Congress within 180 days and every year after on planned U.S. funding, our governance role, who else is contributing, and how this supports U.S. Alzheimer’s goals.
