More youth prevention grants for families
This bill would authorize new grant funding for the youth prevention and recovery initiative. It would authorize $10 million for FY2026; $12 million for FY2027; $13 million for FY2028; $14 million for FY2029; and $15 million for FY2030. These are authorizations of appropriations and would require Congress to appropriate the money before any grants are paid. If enacted and funded, parents could see more local prevention and recovery services for children. This section does not change who is eligible or how programs are run.
