Introduced
Summary
A new Border Operations Service Medal would recognize military members who served in designated U.S.–Mexico border operations starting January 1, 2025. The Secretary of Defense would design and issue the medal in consultation with the heads of the military services. Its wear would be authorized under military uniform rules.
