119-hr-3794119th Congress

For the relief of Juana Maria Flores.

Sponsored By: Representative Carbajal, Salud O. [D-CA-24]

Introduced

Summary

Grants lawful permanent resident status to Juana Maria Flores. This bill would override parts of the Immigration and Nationality Act so she could apply for an immigrant visa or adjust status and be treated as having entered lawfully if she arrived before the filing deadline. It would bar removal or denial based on grounds reflected in Department of Homeland Security or State Department records and require rescinding any orders against her. The application must be filed with fees within two years. If approved, one immigrant visa for her birth country would be reduced by one. Her parents, brothers, and sisters gain no immigration rights from this action.
