Senate vote on WHO pandemic deals

If enacted, any WHO pandemic agreement would be treated as a treaty. The President could not join it unless two-thirds of the Senate approves. This would cover deals on pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response adopted by the World Health Assembly, including work from its negotiating body. It would take effect upon enactment.

Support Taiwan’s role in the WHO

If enacted, the U.S. would state support for Taiwan’s full participation in the World Health Organization. This is a policy message to guide the President and diplomats. It would not add funding or change U.S. household benefits.
