Respondents can move agency cases to federal court
If enacted, this would let you move an agency case to a U.S. district court. It would apply when an action is brought against you before an agency hearing officer. You would file a notice in the district where you live or where your main business is. You would follow the same steps used to remove a case from state court under 28 U.S.C. 1446. An agency hearing officer would mean an administrative law judge or another agency employee who hears the case.
