Violent Antisemitism Threat Assessment Act

Sponsored By: Representative Vindman, Eugene Simon [D-VA-7]

Introduced

Summary

This bill would require the Department of Defense to assess violent antisemitism as a component of transnational extremist movements. By March 20, 2026 the Secretary of Defense would submit to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees a report that outlines extremist ideologies with antisemitic elements, reviews violent acts motivated by those ideologies and their propaganda, and assesses threats to the U.S. homeland, Americans abroad, and U.S. government personnel including members of the Armed Forces. The requirement is limited to a report and does not create new programs or funding.
