Clean fuel producers lose tax credit
This bill would end the Clean Fuel Production tax credit (section 45Z). Clean fuel makers and related businesses would not be able to claim it for tax years that begin after December 31, 2024. If passed, this could raise their taxes or lower their after-tax profits. Any effects on consumer prices or jobs are uncertain.
