SBA shares health info with small businesses
This bill would require the SBA to share federal information about individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements with small business concerns. The SBA would use small business development centers and its district offices to give the information. The SBA would also include the information in outreach like social media, press releases, and the SBA website. "Appropriate Federal agency" would include agencies the SBA Administrator names and would explicitly include the Treasury, HHS, and Labor. The bill would define ICHRA by reference to the June 20, 2019 federal rule (84 Fed. Reg. 28888). This requirement would only provide information. It would not create new payments or change tax rules.
