Keep pay flowing for public shipyard workers during shutdowns

If enacted, the government would keep paying civilian and military public shipyard workers who work during a shutdown. It would use Treasury money, as needed, for fiscal year 2026 when funding for fiscal year 2026 or 2027 is not in effect. Pay and allowances would continue only for those who report to work during the lapse. The funding would be available upon enactment and would end when Congress passes funding for this purpose, passes a funding bill without it, or on January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.
