Introduced
Summary
This bill would require a _trackable accountability measure_ on immigration-status documents mailed by the U.S. Postal Service. Within 180 days the Secretary of Homeland Security would issue a rule requiring that documents the Secretary identifies as mailed through the Postal Service include either a Postal Service barcode that allows each document to be tracked or a recipient signature for items dispatched from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services facilities, and the rule would not apply to documents presented in person.

Tracking for mailed immigration papers
This bill would require tracking for immigration-status documents sent by the United States Postal Service. Within 180 days of enactment, Homeland Security would set rules.
