Bigger marketplace premium credits through 2029
If enacted, this would keep the bigger Marketplace premium tax credit for tax years 2026–2029. During those years, the income cap to qualify would rise from 400% to 1000% of the federal poverty level. That could let some higher‑income households get help paying monthly premiums. It would apply only if you buy coverage through a Health Insurance Marketplace. The changes would start for tax years beginning after December 31, 2025.
