To exempt Members of the House of Representatives and Senators of the Senate from certain Federal passenger and baggage screening, and for other purposes.

In Committee

Summary

Would let the Transportation Security Administration exempt Members of the House and Senators, including leadership, from Federal passenger and baggage screening when they travel between their home airport and any other location. It replaces earlier descriptive language about who was exempt and says a related subsection would not apply to this amendment, making the travel-between-home-airport condition the explicit basis for the exemption.
