Study on mass deportation economic effects

This bill would require the Director of the Congressional Budget Office, with the Council of Economic Advisers, to study and publish the long-term economic effects of immigration policies in effect starting January 20, 2025. The study would analyze effects 20 to 40 years out on industries (including public sector, service, farm, and health workers), innovation and STEM retention, public safety and crime tied to pervasive fear, immigration outflows and demographics, productivity and technological change, remittances, consumer spending and investment, GDP contribution, small businesses, and tax revenue at federal, state, and local levels. DHS, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the IRS would be required to share data with the CBO Director on request. The report would be public and due no later than the earlier of 180 days after enactment or the last day of the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress. The bill would not create new funding, benefits, taxes, or entitlement programs; it would only require this government study and data sharing.
