Nonprofit Security Grant Program transparency. This bill would require the Administrator of the Nonprofit Security Grant Program to give Congress two structured reports: a detailed pre-grant list before awards and a comprehensive annual summary after the fiscal year.

Show full summary
  • Nonprofit applicants and recipients would have their applications, names, addresses, high-risk urban area status, grant amounts, and annual expenditures reported to Congress, making award and spending details visible.
  • State officials would see counts and dollar totals reported for applications they received and for grants they forwarded to the Administrator, including the amount retained under existing program rules.
  • The House and Senate homeland security committees would receive disaggregated data by State and high-risk urban area and regular updates on the NSGP program office operations and staffing to support oversight.
