More farm help, $200,000 cap
If enacted, this bill would expand the Education and Risk Management Assistance program. It would add conservation, diversification, market development, areawide planning, and language translation services. Approved crop insurance providers could be partners to deliver whole-farm risk management help. The paragraph funding level would be $30,000,000. $20,000,000 would be authorized each year starting in FY2026. Those yearly funds would remain available until spent. However, payments to any person under this subsection would be capped at $200,000 per five-year period. Payments for covered activities not paid under this subsection would not count toward that cap.
