Chronic Care Management Improvement Act of 2026

Lower Medicare costs for chronic care

This bill would remove patient cost-sharing for chronic care management (CCM) services under Medicare Part B that are furnished on or after January 1, 2027. For those CCM services, Medicare would pay 100 percent of the lesser of the provider's actual charge or the amount determined under section 1848. The Part B deductible would not apply to those CCM services furnished on or after January 1, 2027. If enacted, this would lower out-of-pocket costs for Medicare beneficiaries who get CCM services.
