Repeal federal workplace safety agency and rules

This bill would repeal the 1970 workplace safety law and abolish the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), effective upon enactment. Without this federal law and agency, many federal safety rules, inspections, citations, and penalties would end. Workers could lose federal protections, while employers would face fewer federal mandates and inspections. States could keep or add their own safety rules, but gaps could remain where no federal enforcement exists.
