New collaboration for small businesses

If enacted, the SBA Administrator and the Commerce Secretary, through the MBDA Director, would direct Small Business Development Centers and MBDA business centers to work together to better serve small businesses. They would issue that direction within 180 days of enactment. They would send Congress a joint report within two years of enactment. The report would summarize results and challenges; count consultations, educational, and outreach activities; report the number of small businesses served and new small businesses started; report jobs created or supported; state the dollar amount of financial assistance tied to the collaboration; and make recommendations to improve collaboration.
