Show full summary
- Disabled veterans and eligible service members: VA payments will cover both the vehicle purchase price and the shipping needed to deliver adaptive vehicles. This reduces out-of-pocket delivery costs for recipients.
- Pension beneficiaries and related VA programs: The law moves the pension payments limitation deadline from November 30, 2031 to March 31, 2032, extending the period covered by that limitation.

VA would cover adaptive vehicle shipping
If enacted, the VA would pay the total shipping price to deliver an adaptive vehicle it provides or helps buy under 38 U.S.C. 3902(a). This would be in addition to paying the total purchase price. Eligible veterans would see lower or no delivery charges. This would take effect upon enactment.
VA pension limit extended to March 2032
If enacted, this bill would extend the current limit on some VA pension payments. The end date would move from November 30, 2031 to March 31, 2032. Veterans whose pensions are limited under 38 U.S.C. 5503(d)(7) would see that limit remain through March 31, 2032. This would take effect upon enactment.
