No federal payments to Anti-Weaponization Fund
If enacted, this bill would bar the use of any Federal funds to pay claims submitted to the "Anti-Weaponization Fund." The Fund was established by the Department of Justice on May 18, 2026. The ban would expressly include funds appropriated under section 1304 of title 31, United States Code, and would apply notwithstanding any other provision of law. If enacted, DOJ and other federal agencies would be unable to disburse federal money to satisfy claims filed with that Fund, which would reduce or eliminate payments to people or entities who submit such claims.
