Stops USPS rule on mailed handguns

This bill would bar the U.S. Postal Service from finalizing, implementing, or enforcing the proposed rule titled "Revised Mailing Standards for Firearms" published April 2, 2026 (91 Fed. Reg. 16601). It would apply to that rule and any substantially similar rule about mailing concealable firearms, including pistols and revolvers. If enacted, individuals, firearm dealers, and small businesses that mail or receive concealable firearms would generally keep using the mail to ship them. The bill does not provide new funding, penalties, or changes to other federal or state laws.
