Expressing support for the designation of January 2026 as "National Human Trafficking Prevention Month".

National Human Trafficking Prevention Month would be designated for January 2026 to focus public attention on preventing trafficking and supporting survivors. The resolution would encourage State, local, and Tribal governments, faith-based organizations, community groups, and private partners to carry out prevention, victim support, and public education tailored to local needs, urge strong law enforcement and immigration action to prosecute traffickers, recognize survivors and community advocates, and encourage Americans to learn trafficking indicators and report suspicious activity, and it cites the National Human Trafficking Hotline's 2024 tally of 11,999 potential cases involving 21,865 potential victims and lifetime totals of 112,822 cases and 218,568 victims.
