Designates April 19–25, 2026 as National Crime Victims' Rights Week and names the 2026 theme “CommUNITY” to highlight connections among survivors, service providers, and communities that support them. The resolution affirms commonly recognized victims' rights such as fairness, safety, privacy, timely notice and the ability to be heard in proceedings, recognizes over 12,000 organizations and thousands of laws that help survivors, and urges Congress and the public to back programs and laws like the Victims of Crime Act, the Crime Victims' Rights Act, and the Violence Against Women Act to strengthen services and enforcement.
