National Small Business Week would be designated May 3 through May 9, 2026 to celebrate the contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs across the United States. The resolution notes every President since 1963 has declared the week and points to more than 36 million small businesses supporting over 62 million jobs. It asks the House to honor entrepreneurial spirit and applaud small business owners and employees for their economic role.
