Glioblastoma Awareness Day would spotlight the urgent need for public awareness, better treatments, and targeted molecular testing for glioblastoma, the most aggressive common malignant brain tumor. The resolution would designate July 15, 2026 as "Glioblastoma Awareness Day", honor people living with or lost to the disease, stress the importance of biomarker testing, encourage collaboration among government, private, and nonprofit groups, and urge continued investment in research and therapies including through the National Cancer Institute's Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network.
