Honoring mothers, and recognizing the significance of motherhood and the impact mothers have on raising the next generation, on the occasion of Mother's Day.

Sponsored By: Representative Weber, Randy K. Sr. [R-TX-14]

Introduced

Summary

Affirming and honoring motherhood: this resolution would urge Americans to observe Mother's Day and celebrate the sacrifices and contributions of women who choose to bring life and nurture the next generation. It names stepmothers, adoptive mothers, and single mothers as included, and its preambular language criticizes gender-neutral labels like "birthing person" and "gestational parent" as diminishing the significance of motherhood.
