Introduced
Summary
Recognizes Alpha Delta Pi's 175th anniversary and its place as the first secret society for college women. This resolution would note the sorority's founding on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia and identify its six founders. It would highlight more than 290,000 lifetime initiates, chapters at over 220 colleges and universities, 165 active alumnae associations, and headquarters in Atlanta. It would also call out philanthropy that raises over $1 million annually for Ronald McDonald House, roughly 300,000 community service hours each year, hazing-prevention work, notable alumnae achievements, and a 175th Grand Convention in Palm Desert June 17–20, 2026.
