- Host countries and aid: Would urge increased humanitarian and development assistance and more support for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and nongovernmental organizations, noting about 117 million people are displaced and 68 percent of refugees live in low- and middle-income countries.
- U.S. policy and admissions: Would criticize low FY2026 admissions set at 7,500 and the addition of 10,000 admissions for Afrikaners from South Africa, and would direct the State Department, Department of Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services to coordinate to meet robust admissions goals and international pledges.
