Sponsored By: Representative Bonamici, Suzanne [D-OR-1]
Introduced
Summary
Supports a “whole child” approach that aims to make sure every student is challenged academically and is supported, healthy, safe, and engaged. The resolution would encourage parents, educators, administrators, community members, and the Federal Government to coordinate education, health, and social services, promote daily physical activity, nutritious school meals, and safe learning environments, and it highlights graduation gaps — overall 87 percent; students with disabilities 71 percent; English learners 72 percent; economically disadvantaged students 81 percent.
