Sponsored By: Representative Moolenaar, John R. [R-MI-2]
Introduced
Summary
National Chemistry Week designation would name October 18 through October 24, 2026 as National Chemistry Week and frame chemistry as vital to everyday life and to innovation and jobs. It would promote public education and outreach, encourage students—especially women and underrepresented groups—to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics careers, and commend the American Chemical Society and its partners for organizing the 37th annual National Chemistry Week under the theme “Chemistry Under Construction.”
