119-hres-164119th Congress

Providing for the consideration of the resolution (H. Res. 23) permitting parental remote voting by proxy, and for other purposes.

Sponsored By: Representative Luna, Anna Paulina [R-FL-13]

Introduced

Summary

Clears the House to immediately consider a separate resolution that would permit parental remote voting by proxy. It would treat that resolution as read, limit debate to one hour equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Rules or their designees, order an up-or-down adoption vote without other motions except the allotted debate, and waive Clause 1(c) of House Rule XIX for that consideration.
