Sponsored By: Representative James, John [R-MI-10]

Introduced

Summary

Honoring Selfridge Air National Guard Base's 108th anniversary and national defense role. This resolution would celebrate the base's history since its 1917 commissioning, note its ties to the Tuskegee Airmen and leaders like Colonel Benjamin O. Davis, commend the 127th Wing and its 2016 awards, and recognize Selfridge as a joint installation that supports over 4,500 jobs and generates hundreds of millions for nearby communities. It would also note the planned beddown of twelve KC-46A tankers and encourage continued cooperation with the Department of Defense and state investments.
