This resolution authorizes consideration of a joint resolution to disapprove a CFPB rule on overdraft lending by very large financial institutions and a joint resolution to disapprove a CFPB rule defining larger participants in digital consumer payment applications. It also advances a bill to limit district courts' authority to provide injunctive relief and a bill to require proof of U.S. citizenship to register an individual to vote in federal elections. For each item the resolution waives all points of order against consideration and against provisions. It prescribes one hour of debate split equally and controlled by the relevant committee chair and ranking minority member. It allows one motion to commit for the two CFPB disapprovals and one motion to recommit for the two bills. The amendment in the nature of a substitute from the Committee on the Judiciary is deemed adopted. The resolution records adoption of H.Res.293 and places H.Res.164 on the table.
