Designates a National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. This resolution would designate May 5, 2025 as a National Day of Awareness and call on the public and groups to commemorate those missing or murdered and show solidarity with their families. It would also recommend that the Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice commission a new study to update data on missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
