Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 3001) to advance commonsense priorities.

Sponsored By: Representative Fitzpatrick, Brian K. [R-PA-1]

Introduced

Summary

Limits debate and waives procedural objections to speed House consideration of H.R. 3001. The resolution treats an amendment in the nature of a substitute submitted by Representative Fitzpatrick as adopted and the bill, as amended, as read. It waives all points of order against the bill and its consideration. Debate is limited to one hour equally divided between Representative Fitzpatrick or a designee and an opponent. One motion to recommit is allowed. Clause 1(c) of House Rule XIX does not apply. If more than one qualifying substitute amendment is submitted only the last one is treated as adopted.
