It notes ONS was founded in 1975, serves as the professional home to more than 35,000 members and represents over 100,000 oncology nurses, and highlights the 2025 U.S. cancer burden of about 2,041,910 new cases and 618,120 deaths while noting more than 18 million cancer survivors.
