Summary
Honoring a volunteer rescue team that helped evacuate over 17,000 citizens and Afghan allies from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan in 2021. The resolution would thank 13 individuals led by Chad Robichaux for organizing evacuations, establishing a humanitarian center in Abu Dhabi, running nonstop rescue operations at Hamid Karzai International Airport that saved about 12,000 people in ten days, continuing for two months to move another 5,000 via alternate routes, and conducting a 90-mile reconnaissance along the Tajikistan–Afghanistan border to open escape routes still used today.
