Censuring Representative Cory Mills.
Sponsored By: Representative Clarke, Yvette D. [D-NY-9]
Introduced
Summary
This resolution would censure Representative Cory Mills. It lists alleged conduct the text says brings discredit to the House, including a Feb. 19, 2025 Metropolitan Police Department investigation of an alleged assault where MPD found probable cause but a U.S. Attorney declined to sign an arrest warrant. It also cites a July 14, 2025 allegation that Mills threatened a former partner, an Office of Congressional Conduct report raising concerns about his financial disclosures and campaign contributions, and disputed Bronze Star claims. The resolution would require Mills to present himself in the House well for the Speaker to publicly read the censure with the notation "<all>" at the end.
