The resolution says over 280 schools have been eligible since 2007, 208 are currently funded or eligible, and 69 were funded in the 2024–2025 academic year. It highlights that these institutions make up 7.1 percent of colleges but enroll 46 percent of AANHPI undergraduates and award 51 percent of associate degrees and 44 percent of bachelor’s degrees to AANHPI students. The text encourages eligible colleges to seek funding and asks communities to observe the week with appropriate events and programs.
