Sponsored By: Representative McGovern, James P. [D-MA-2]
Introduced
Summary
Sets special House rules to fast-track consideration of H.R. 1834. H.Res. 779 would clear procedural hurdles so the House could immediately take up H.R. 1834, adopt the text of H.R. 5450 as a substitute, waive points of order against consideration and the bill, limit debate to one hour split for the Appropriations chair and ranking member, allow one motion to recommit, and require the Clerk to notify the Senate of passage within one calendar day.
