Impact Aid Recognition Day designates September 30, 2025 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Impact Aid program. It honors the federal program that reimburses local education agencies (LEAs) for lost tax revenue from federal property, serves more than 600,000 federally connected children, covers about 4.7 million acres of federal land inside LEA boundaries, and will provide roughly $1.6 billion to about 1,100 LEAs in fiscal year 2025.
