Ceremonial honor for the Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha at Talladega College. This resolution would congratulate the chapter on its 100th anniversary, commend past and present members for devotion to scholarship, leadership, and service, and recognize the chapter as a lasting example of historically Black colleges and universities and Black women’s leadership. It lists the twelve charter members by name and recounts generations of members who have served in education, public service, business, faith, law, medicine, the arts, and civic advocacy. It requests the Clerk transmit an enrolled copy to the Chi Chapter.
