This bill would create a Rural Water and Wastewater Cybersecurity Circuit Rider Program. If enacted, it would fund trained circuit riders to help associations that run rural water or wastewater systems. Circuit riders would do quick cybersecurity assessments, develop protection protocols, help fix weak cyber plans, and document system risks to water supplies. They would need experience and certification set by the Secretary and must report who they served and what they did. Congress would be asked to fund $10,000,000 per year for fiscal years 2025 through 2029.
