- Colleges and universities would have to stop authorizing, facilitating, or funding events the IHRA definition describes as antisemitic or risk losing access to Title IV federal student aid.
- Students could face disruptions to their federal student aid if their institution becomes ineligible for Title IV because it supported events judged antisemitic.
- Campus compliance and event-approval offices would use the IHRA working definition and its examples to decide which events receive institutional support.

Colleges barred from supporting antisemitism
If enacted, colleges that take federal student aid would not be allowed to authorize, fund, or support events that promote antisemitism. The bill would use the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance working definition of antisemitism from May 26, 2016, including its contemporary examples. This requirement would be a condition on a college's participation in Title IV federal student aid programs. Noncompliance could affect a college's eligibility for those federal student aid programs.
