More biomanufacturing collaboration for preparedness
This bill would let BARDA work with Manufacturing USA institutes on biomanufacturing missions. It would add the words "manufacturing technologies, platforms" next to "countermeasures" in the law. If enacted, BARDA could develop, test, and deploy manufacturing technologies and response capabilities to improve public health preparedness. The change would not itself create new funding or grant programs.
