More USDA support for SAF

If enacted, the bill would direct USDA to run a Farm to Fly effort to advance sustainable aviation fuel. The Secretary would coordinate across USDA and find commercialization opportunities. USDA would be directed to leverage farmers and foresters and to support public‑private partnerships. The bill would also add "foster and advance sustainable aviation fuels" as an objective for the biorefinery assistance program and make sustainable aviation fuel an explicit eligible activity.
