More vehicle adaptations for veterans
If enacted, eligible veterans and VA medical patients would be able to get coverage for medically necessary vehicle adaptations. You would need to be a VA medical beneficiary. Adaptations would have to be for driver or passenger use and medically necessary. Examples listed include ramps and kneeling systems, raised doors or lowered floors, raised roofs, air conditioning, occupied and unoccupied mobility lifts, ingress/egress accessibility changes, wheelchair tiedowns, and adapted seating.
Pension payment limits extended for veterans
If enacted, the bill would extend the date that limits certain VA pension payments. The date in law would change from November 30, 2031 to September 30, 2032. That means affected VA pension recipients would remain subject to the same payment limits for about nine more months. The change would not alter who qualifies or the dollar amounts in the statute.
