More VA construction funding for veterans

If enacted, this bill would authorize $1.567 billion for VA major construction in fiscal year 2025 or when Congress provides funds. It would let VA carry out two projects. West Los Angeles could get up to $1.4606 billion. That would pay for a new critical care center, central utility plant, demolition, and Building 500 renovations. Dallas could get up to $106.4 million for more mental health clinical space, extra parking, and land acquisition. The authorization only permits the spending; Congress must appropriate the money. If passed, veterans who use these facilities and local contractors could see more care capacity and construction work.
